B's Dream.

Not too long ago me and my boyfriend Jack (also an illustrator) were commissioned to do an illustration for a lady called Bryony. We were asked to create an image on the idea of a young girl looking up at a tree which contains a few select things (Bryony's pet sheep, cat, dog and rabbits and other objects such as dresses and shoes). We finished it recently and when it was given to B as a present from my uncle, she burst into tears as she loved it so much! So a good result there! The image below is the final piece, although the quality of the picture is bad so apologies for that.

The final image, 'B's Dream'. Sold for £125.

New York and 365 Project.

Okay, so I may have lied and said that I'll put put pictures from my New York trip and I didn't so I'm sorry. But since NY, I had two weeks of UCAS and applying for uni and then one week to do all my christmas shopping and present making, then it was Christmas and I'm not likely to do anything then. So now it's a few days after, I have edited all my pictures and below are a few of my favourites.

I had such an amazing time and want to go back so badly. I'm sure I'll visit again, if not live there one day!

Anyway, I also wanted to tell you about a project I am going to be taking part in in the new year. I'm sure you've heard of something like it before, and I'm sure it has many names but I know of it as either the '365 Project' or  'Documenting Delight - 2012'. Basically, you make a blog and on each day of the year you blog about something, someone or just whatever you want. It's very popular with mothers who want to document the first year in their babies lives, but it can be based on whatever. So I'm just letting you know that I will be doing it on here and will be publishing one post everyday for the whole year. It will be the same as I have done for previous posts, such as photographers, artists, my work, something arty I did on that day, etc; but it will be one everyday. I hope I can stick to it!

Documenting Delight - 2012 - This is the link if anyone is interested in joining the facebook group. It allows you to get ideas on what other people are blogging about and see their blogs once the new year comes. Also this video (http://vimeo.com/22100389) is about a woman's 365 project which was based on things she was grateful for. Take a look as it was that which made me want to do this.
